I can't thank you all enough for all your comments and message's you have left for Lakeside Chatter.  I knew when I started this blog that I was going to love writing about and showing off so many talented Mom's.  But I didn't realize how many new people I would meet, how much more I would become inspired and how grateful and blessed I would feel to be a part of your lives.  So thank you from the bottom of my heart and please keep coming back for more Chatter fun and of course more giveaway chances in the next few weeks.  I hope all or you fantastic Mommies have a great and wonderful Mother's Day. 
For now I would like to leave you with one of my all time favorite Mother's Day video's.  This probably a fave of mine because I own two boys and can so see Evan and Ryan acting like this when they are teenagers.  Oh so many wonderful things to look forward too....

Mommy Love - A Mother's Day Giveaway

Mommy...
I could barely wait until I was one.
Because mine did it so well.
She had the answers to EVERYTHING, she made the best pancakes called "clouds" (that is how light and fluffy there were)
She helped me grow and change and yes we had the infamous teenage "rough patch" but she never once gave up on me.
She was there when I needed just about anything.
Even when I didn't know what that "anything" was, she was there somehow knowing...
Always knowing, helping, inspiring.
and loving.
And I love her now more than I ever thought I could.
Because I am one too.
A Mommy.
My story is different.  I have two boys.  She had two girls. Twins actually.

My boys are not twins but they are close enough.  12 months and 5 days exactly.  On most days it feels like twins.  And I love this because it reminds me of my childhood, my experiences with someone who was on the same playing field.  She got me and I got her and we too had the "rough patch"  She was way to smart and responsible for me to "hang" with her.  I mean like OMG right...  But deep down I admired her, her ability to stand up to anyone, her confidence, the smart way she handled everything.  Yet, without a doubt she was and still is my best friend.

And now she is a Mommy too.

Also to a boy.  A beautiful blond headed mess of a boy, who I love just as if he were my own. and if it is possible I think I admire her even more.  Because one of her biggest strengths is how she nurtures, how she loves, how she would do anything for anyone. 
And guess who taught her....

Mom!

And so here we are.

Three Mommies. 

And I love them so much.

They still teach me, help me and love me.

And I am so grateful, so blessed and so honored I get to be on this journey with them.

April Giveaway with Love.

April Giveaway.

Yesterday I wrote here.  And many of you have been so sweet and kind about Evan's little incident.    It is funny what our kids can teach us,  I think it is one of my favorite moments of being a Mom.  What they teach you…. 

But I am back to here today and still basking in our visit last week down in South Carolina and Georgia.  So it is time to focus on the good stuff and oh a week in the low country can fill you up with so much goodness.   The sights the smells, the sounds, (who knew frogs can make that sound...a cross between a yappy dog and a baby cry).  But if the gentle breeze and salt water air doesn’t put you in a good place then not much can.  At least for me. 
So on my hunt for something special to offer you my readers, followers and wonderful friends I journeyed into Old Bluffton right dead smack in between Savannah, GA and Hilton Head, NC.   

Mirror Mirror on the Wall...

So guess what I am NOT good at....
Taking pictures of myself. So, so, sooooo not good at this. I mean sure I have a self timer and sure I could go that way, but where is the artistic value in that? A self shot in the mirror is way cooler and way more sophisticated (asuming you know what you are doing).
You see I got this idea form another awesome Mommy Blogger who really has her act together. And since I (soon) will be featuring all kinds of giveaways I thought it would be cool to practice with some photo taking with me,myself and I.

The Mission: Practice using Mirror, awful lighting in bathroom and horrific styled hair (it was practice people).
The Focus: Earrings... Not just any earrings but an exquisite set of shiny dangly earrings.

The kind I haven't worn in years, the kind I just drooled over when I opened, the kind that was a gift form a very thoughtful fellow Mom friend and Chatter Sponsor who just so proves to me how much I love this gig!!
And no, the earrings are not a giveaway item (again practice people, no way I would part with these beauties). 
Anyways, here is how it went....

Lessons Learned:

1) I clearly had too much time on my hands

2) Next time an outfit with color!

3) Scratch that, next time have HUSBAND or friend take photos!!

I LEARNED A LOT OF THINGS...

 Like outdoor Spring time events require mucho Zyrtec and Allergy Visine.  For those of you who stopped by and saw me with tears running down my face and a wad of Kleenex in my hand, I truly was happy to see you, I promise.  I have issues with pollen flying in the air....

I blame my parents (but still love them)

Also, I met some great women, and if possible am even more INSPIRED to show em all off to you over the next few weeks.

 I plan to be at more local events down the road and will let you know.

Spring Fling in Baxter Village.

I have been waiting for this day for a long time.  The Chatter's very first public event and I couldn't be happier to share it with two special Momprenuers Lucia Clark of L.C. Designs and Misty Grant with Pampered Chef and Dot Dot Goose.

We will be in Baxter Village, Fort Mill SC this Saturday, March 19th  from 2:00-6:00 participating in the festival which is sure to be loaded with many great activities and family fun.....
